A New York native, Lynne Shigo earned a law degree from Thomas Colley University (now Western Michigan) and her LL.M from the University of Florida in 1992. Specializing in workers compensation and social security, she knows her subject areas from both sides. After spending 2½ years representing defendants in workers compensation cases, she switched sides, and she is passionate about helping her clients. That’s, in part, because she was herself an accident victim. That experience drives her in all her efforts for clients. She describes the workers compensation system as unfair, so she fights for every benefit she can.
